On October 24, the first breastfeeding clinic of a private hospital in Beijing was officially opened in the U.S.-China Yihe Women and Children's Hospital. On the day of the event, Song Lanqin, deputy secretary-general of the Chinese Association of Maternal and Child Health, Jiang Mei, director of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Professional Committee of the Chinese Nursing Society, and Huang Xinghua, deputy director of the Chinese Association of Perina Importance, and give professional guidance. At the same time, they called on more medical institutions to support breastfeeding and make breastfeeding a mainstream healthy way of feeding. Data shows that nearly half of newborn babies in our country lack sufficient breast milk. Increasing breastfeeding rates requires the support of the whole society. Among them, medical institutions should strengthen management and adopt comprehensive measures to establish a comprehensive breastfeeding support system.
